Posting a Cash Bond
Cash bonds can be posted in person at the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cash bonds can also be posted with the county court clerk or the district court clerk, whichever is applicable, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

They need only have some basic information about the arrestee and the bail amount, information that the Cheyenne County Jail can provide to the cardholder contacting GovPayNet.

The court has recently reviewed the procedures with reference to refunding bonds to defendants and/or their assignees and has updated the procedures. Please be advised of the following change: No defendant and/or assignee will receive bond money back once all fines, costs, and restitution are paid in full.
