The Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office is committed to public safety, as well as the safety of our staff and inmates. Due to the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases, both in Cheyenne County and the surrounding areas, new restrictions have been put in place at our facility. Effective immediately, no visitors will be admitted inside of the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office unless absolutely necessary and visitors will not be admitted without first submitting to a temperature check . Any sign of a temperature above 100.5 degrees will result in exclusion from gaining entrance to the office. Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask and to social distance whenever possible. For the safety of our inmates, all visitation to the inmates of the Cheyenne County Jail is hereby suspended until further notice.
